I need help.

For the last couple weeks the message boards at cartalk.cars.com have been down. Today I checked back, they have reorganized them and have gotten rid of half of forums, not to mention made a whole lot of other "improvement", it seems the long time posters have all vanished since then - I want my old forums back.
Please go to cartalk's suggestion thingy (http://cartalk.cars.com/Mail/feedback.html) and tell them to give back the old forums, if enough people tell them how much the new forums suck then maybe they'll listen and make the right choice and get rid of the current crappy forums. Please help me! - I absolutely hate their new forums!, they make me want to kill whoever was in charge of changing them!

I remember when AF lost a fair bit of it's old school not too long ago..........Mainly because of AF being in a small defecit at the time- they should all come back to see what a great board AF has become :frown:



Ah well- at least they never delete forums at AF :D

I'm one of the old time posters that has left (unless they give back the old forums) after three years of posting there, so I fin it annoying that they'd get rid of the most popular forums just to make them easier to moderate!

Well, I am certainly not going to join a forum just to bitch about something they did before I got there. :bloated:

Uh, you don't have to join - anybody can send suggestions, whether or not they're a member, so please do.

I know how you feel, there's one I was in (i left due to it being teeny bopper car slut world) and in the end it turned into a giant ad due to no funding to keep it open.

Well it's not that, it's just that it sucks now - there are too many new rules. I loved that forum because it was so open, the people there were knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor, and strong opinions - perfect for a good discussion, whether it be about politics or oil types, and now that is all gone.

I have no problem with this thread being here, I just wonder what would motivate people to attempt to change a site that they have had no input into and for arguments sake couldn't care less about? A bit of a big ask.
