Another pair of McLarens

These were spotted at the Monaco GP a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like they belong to the same folks, as they have the license plates M66 MCL and R66 MCL. Could it be Michael and Ralph Schumacher?

Historic orange one looks like a proper GTR, and the silver one looks like a roadcar with High Downforce Kit.

BTW: I've never heard Ralf's or Michael's names mentioned as possible owners before. That would be pretty interesting, wouldn't it.

I'd also like to mention once again, that it amazes me that when cars like this show up at a location where auto enthusiasts are everywhere, that there is only one photo of each of these cars circulating the web. I can't believe there aren't more shots of these two cars hiding somewhere.

I guess you'd have to search through everyone's 2003 Monaco GP photo albums...

A friend of mine mailed these to me, I asked him where he got them, and when I went to the URL to get the full sized versions, the McLaren pics were gone! Thanks for posting them.

Hello,

I begin to try to solve the puzzle of Monaco based McLaren.
We can think that these two F1 are not based in Monaco because it exist only one pic of them !!

Here are some questions
1) is it possible that these F1s belong to McLaren staff ?
2) tvrfreak, I would like find source of these pics, where did you find them ?
3) Is it possible that these F1s were at the same place in same time ? In fact, there are only 20 meters between places of photos.
4) I heard about an Indian who ow a Mclaren in Monaco : what colour please ?

Thank you all if you can help me. Maybe, soon, I will have a chassis of one :)

Ciao
Phil

1. Probably not, since they are registered.
2. On the web somewhere, I have forgotten where.
3. Well the pic shows them both in the same place at the same time, so I don't understand the question.
4. That's a different car. Not one of these.

Hello,

thank you mini magic and tvrfreak ;-)

Please excuse me for my strange questions ! It's sometimes difficult to me to say in english what I think in french.

I try to know how many, and if it possible VIN, of Monaco based McLaren. So, all information is good for me.

At this moment, I can say :
one grey and I know who owns this (sure)
one blue (seen by someone but plate not seen)
one owned by an Indian (if I know the colour, I could say if there are two or three at least)

A friend of mine mailed these to me, I asked him where he got them, and when I went to the URL to get the full sized versions, the McLaren pics were gone!

Ok, is it possible to you to trace these pictures please ? Can you give me the URL and I will try to send an email ?

Incidentally, Cabrio, the orange and silver cars looked like they had British license plates...it's more likely that they were visiting for the F1 races, and are not premanently kept in Monaco. Hopefully they will be spotted again this year!

I am going to the F1 races in Bahrain at the end of this month, and I will keep an eye out for F1s. :)
