CAMS and Stroker kits

I been looking at stroker kits and Cams recently and i want to know if the CAMS for the 2.0liter SR20DET would work on a SR22DET ?

What are the Advantages for using a 2.2L Stroker kit such as this compared to uprated Cranks and Pistons for the 2.0L


or if you get a stroker kit do you have to get some custom cams milled?

and would it matter if you used lets say HKS CAMS and Pulleys and internals except for the Crankshaft and the Crankshaft comes from JUN or Nismo instead?

I would think so, you're still usiong the same head/valvetrain.

Hard to say. Obviously, you get a larger displacement engine, but personally, I think enough can be done to the DET without the need for a stroker kit.

See above. You can, but cams designed for SR20DET should work just the same.

No, it doesn't matter. What people do is they use the products that suit their application best and work best. So ask around (are you on the se-r mailing list?) Also, don't forget about JWT products, they are a renowned specialist in this field.
