hey, that is too cool!! i have been trying to do this similiar swap for going on three weeks now, and just barely got my civ up and running,but it is running so bad, i cant let it go. I am having a rough time because of the exact pin locations on my ecu. I cant get any accurate info on what i have. The car is used and i bought it somewhat modified, as im finding out, anyways, it is a 91 hatchback, std. and came with dpfi, and a d15b1. i dropped a d16a6 into it w/mpfi, but am having a hell of a time with the wiring to ecu. It has a PM9 sticker on it!!
It was running dpfi so i assumed it may be a pm5, but the wiring diagrams i have found wont help me.they arent the same wires i have!!Do you have any ideas where i can find out just what it is i have in this thing(ecu) and get an accurate pin location diagram? The site and info you turned me on to was kick ass!! thanks alot, and by the way,ill put all the numbers from my ecu in now, so mebbe, just mebbe, ill get lucky and someone will be able to help a needy person out!!(ME) here goes

The PM9 ECU was one that the 91 DX and STD had. It had even shittier fuel maps than the PM5. I don't see why the wiring would be different though.

And goddam thats some sloppy ass wiring...
