I have heard numerous stories and opinions about having a short throw shifter in your car that is turbocharged. I have been told that this is not a good choice when going turbo.I just want to know the truth about this. I have a DC sports STS in my GSR and am about to turbocharge it but if my STS will affect the turbo in any way I will just go back to stock. Please give me some insight.:sunglasse

I have the DC short shifter, and boost.
No probelms. Personally the short throw didn't help my shifting much.

Only problems with short shifters is users have a tendancy to shift harder, breaking syncros and stuffs.

That and the fact that hey, if the the shifts are closer together, guess what will happen when you miss and your in full boost dropping gears. Good bye motor. The STS isn't worth the money, your not gonna shift that much faster.

hey, your a good driver, but it's just not worth it to risk the motor for something that i promise won't lower your et's or traps.
