d16 questions

ok this may sound dumb but i dont care
what are all the different d16's?
and what head can i use on my 88 crx si, i guess its a d16a6 right, i am going to build the head up either way but is there something better than the stock one

you can use any d series head. the d16z head from a 92-95 civic will fit. you can go with the zc head or the stock SI head. thats about all your options

a DOHC ZC head doesnt fit on a SOHC block without serious modifications.

and he is correct about one thing, any D series SOHC head will fit on the block.

are you sure the dohc wont fit, what about this exclusive crx in europe that has a dohc head stock,?isnt that the same as the zc?

Its a complete zc thats why. They come stock like that over there in europe and japan and elsewhere besides north america.
