Hi guys,
after 3 hours of messing around I found out that the reason I'm loosing coolant from my 3.25iSport is cos my water pump is up the shoot. I know it's not expensive to replace and I've got a Haynes for it, I'm just wondering if anybody has done this job before and has got any useful tips ?

It's not the speed that bothers me it's the sudden stop at the end!

Depending on the age of your car consider changing the timing belt also. And if your hoses are old change them. Yes were talking a few more bucks but it's cheaper than breaking down on the side of the road. As far as tips go get the special tool (spanner wrench) to take off the fan/clutch assy. It is earier to do all of this work with the hood removed but not at all necessary.

Mccan is right all except the hood part. You can remove the kidneys(center grille) and disconnect the hood shocks. This will allow the hood to open further.
