how bad is it to drive my car without a preasure plate......thats been burned out for like a month now

Burned out? Do you mean badly worn to the point of slipping? And have you tried adjusting the clutch by turning the black nut (you can use your hands to move it it's big enough and not tight). Sometimes doing that can get a bit more life out of it, but it will change how far out you need to let the pedal.

If the clutch is slipping and the car is having trouble moving, (when i bought my car it wouldnt move under its own power) it is a very bad thing. I had to replace my flywheel because it had grooves worn in it from the rivets in the pressure plate. At minimum, flywheels are at least an additional $150.

Its not possible to drive "without a pressure plate".

And your pressure plate would not be able to damage your flywheel, because thats not the friction surface.....that would be the clutch disc. If you've ridden a disc all the way down to the rivets, you deserve the kick in the nuts that is the price tag of a new flywheel. Thats why they call it maintenence....not "maybe later"

Get a new clutch/pressure plate...:rolleyes:

yeh they arent very expensive. Save your self the hassles that will come later if you keep driving it how it is and just get a new one.

Maybe a heavy duty at that :D
