Pics of my ride

Okay so these are old shitty pics taken using a pathetic digital camera, but I borrowed it so I can't bitch. Just thought I would post them since I never have.
That is the stock paint from 1991. The only real body damage is the 3 dings in the hood, one on the driver's side fender, one on the passenger side front door, two holes in the trunk lid where the dealer badge used to be, and just general rock chips on the front.
Next up is tint. I finally got my finances in order, so I will be able to pay for college and whatnot. Thank god for student loans and scholarships.
After tint I am getting my exhaust done, because the stock unit is basically rusting off. That is all I have planned for the summer. Now for the shitty pics.

Man I have a 91 lx, it did most of its growing up in the Seattle area so most of the paint is oxidized and the clear coat is lost. I wish my paint job looked as good as yours man. Thats tight. Props on the clean 4 door too, kepp reppen for us.

Very nice - I could be tempted into a 4 door soon I think - I saw a nice 4WD import one a while back.... hmmm... that is if I don't go with a JDM Honda City Turbo 2 in need of some TLC

Thanks guys! Yeah I keep a nice thick coat of wax on it because up in Moscow it snows from October to April, and my car has to sit outside for the entire school year. So you'll find me in late September waxing my car on the side of the road in front of my fraternity. Then again in late April.

YO! - NICE RIDE almost looks like mine! I hate that the stupid stock wheel covers have the shitty silver coating that peels off...yours looks pretty good..I suspect you scrubbed them off 100% so at least they are uniform in appearence. Mine had already been replaced by the dealer when I bought it (2nd owner) so I put some knock off 6G wheel covers on mine...they'll hold until I can afford some 6G Si rims

And nice custom rear speaker action. It sucks the tension rod for the trunk doesn't allow deep speakers without custom work - NICE!
I have a DX (non painted bumpers) - but I found a wrecked EX and took the bumpers off of it, so I'll have the LX/EX "look" when I tear the car apart this summer and put it back together.
Representing the FO-DO's!!

Very nice, very nice
I like the custom speaker pods in the back there, and also the head rests :frown: because the owner before me threw the things out.
oh and a side note I spent about three hours taking off my pin stripe, using a big bottle of goo gone, my moms hair dryer, and gods gift....my finger nails
but hey keep up the good work, what do you have underneath the hood?

Nice dude...I need to do that too..it's on my list...but recently I have not been taking very good care of the outside.
I'll keep my eyes open for headrests at the junkyard...is your interior grey??

Lookin good man ... and the reason his wheel covers look so good is cause they are new ... I really like the custom work with the trunk :bigthumb:

 - they look like the OEM wheel covers that were stipped of all the hideous metal flake paint that literally flakes off  - The late 80's/early 90's Accords, and early 5G Civics had these issues too..then I think Honda figured it out and changed the paint formula for their OEM wheel covers.

Yeah the wheelcovers are brand spankin' new. The picture doesn't do them justice, but they are a nice shiny silver with a sort of pearl coat on them... I keep them waxed too!
Under the hood it is completely stock, except I keep it super clean under there too (maybe pics someday) and I took out the air intake snorkel, resonator box, and rubber joint, so it gets air directly into the filter box, and I also took out the plate inside the DPFI housing above the TB.
No rear lip, but I have the splash guards all around, they really help to keep the sides looking nice. The only bad rock chip areas are the front bumper and hood. (Up close they are chewed up, but far away they look good.)
I need to redo the rear speaker buildouts, because they kind of touch the rear glass, and when I get my car tinted they won't be able to get in there to put the tint on, so I think I am going to pull the carpet off and trim them down a bit, on the front and the back. The carpet I used is really thick and hard to work with... I will probably try to find some better material. Hell who knows, I might just do my fiberglass rear deck.
Thanks for the complements guys!
