How to manually move a power seat forward?

Many years ago my 98 4dr's driver's side power seat (rod) broke which meant I could no longer adjust the seat forward and backward, it hasn't been a big deal as I had no need to adjust the seat, but now I am trying to remove the seat to put it in my 04 Blazer and am trying to remove the seat bolt, however the seat is to far back to get a drill in a vertical position over the bolt. (drilling and grinding the bolt is the only option at this point.)
Does anyone know if there is a way I can manually move the seat forward on it's track?
Thanks much,
Hans

I didn't do it this way, but after grinding out the bolt head with an angle grinder (didn't have to worry about the carpet in the parts truck) I managed to get the seat out and was able to take a closer look at the lateral seat motor.
If you find yourself in this situation, you can take out the two screws that hold the motor housing to the seat and pull the motor off. Then you can use the spindle that's in the center of the motor and insert it into the track area and use a pliers, ratchet, or your fingers to turn the corkscrew and move the seats.
Just a heads up, if you are removing your seat completely to reupholster, make sure the seat is in the high position in both the front and rear so that the fabrick has room to be removed.
