I have a 97' dodge ram 1500 and one day i was driving and this white smoke or vapor started coming through my vents and from behind my dash, it smells sweet and nasty, therefore i know it is antifreeze/coolant. recently i filled my radiator/overflow and today it started leaking and dripping from a little tube under my dash on the passenger side. its the same color as coolant so i popped the hood to check my fluid and my overflow is damn near empty when i filled it 3 days ago. what do i do?

Sounds like your heater core let go. There is a post here that shows how to replace. Be advised, it is alot of labor. You'll have to pull your dash.(the post describes how you can just move it back from the passenger side) Had a 96 that didn't make it 10yrs before my heater core leaked. And I have seen garages charge upwards of $800. A temporary solution. You bypass it by disconnecting the two hoses under the hood against the firewall and I have used copper pipe like couple inches long that has the same diameter as the inside of the hoses and clamps. But you won't have any heat. Good Luck.
