AC Compressor on 2000 626

I've got a 2000 model 626 with a bad compressor. And I also have a 2001 model 626 with a good compressor. I can't seem to find any info on Google as to whether or not I can use the 2001 compressor in the 2000. Anyone have some insight on this?
