relearn dual climate control

i have a 2005 silverado, i just changed battery and now the dual climate control only works on defrost! can someone tell me how to relearn the climate control? thx..

remove the negative battery connection for 15 min . place the ignition to on. after 15 min then turn the ignition to OFF remove the key from cylinder then re-connect the negative battery connection .
