04' 330CI Headlight Unit Quote

I had a local automotive shop install some new D2S bulbs in my 2004 BMW 330CI... and then I get a phone call with bad news... for them at least! Turns out they broke the piece that makes the light move left/right with direction of vehicle. So, they replaced the whole unit costing them roughly $1,000.

I kept the replaced unit and wanted to know if this is still worth anything and if so how much?
