I "finished" this...maybe. It could be an ongoing work in progress if I get new ideas for it. While taking photos, I realized that I have a few things to touch up, but it has turned out exactly like I wanted. It is important to realize that this is not meant to be a 2013 rat rod but more of a mid Fifties poor man's farm country hotrod.
The base kit was the AMT Beverly Hillbillies kit. I channeled the body over the frame, cut down the bed to a smaller size and moved the front axle to the top of the springs to lower it a bit. I added the Chevy Thriftmaster from the AMT 1950 Chevy pickup kit and wheels and tires from the spare box. The radiator, grill shell and door handles are from the Revell 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod kit. Due to the mixed up chassis, radiator & engine I had to scratch build the exhaust and radiator hoses. The finish is almost exclusively craft paint. This is my first attempt at any significant weathering and it was quite a challenge to get the old, weathered look I had in my head. Let me know what you think!

I love that the bed is "made of" an old sign, that is such a perfect detail! I love it so much!

That's a cool ride. Real nice effects with the weathering and all the little details!
Are the spark plug wires supposed to be such a clew?

I want to thank everyone for the kind words. This was a very enjoyable project for me and that is something I have needed for a while.
Willimo - The sign is one of my favorite parts of the truck. I thought it rally brings out the look I was wanting. I'm glad you like it.
Kjenjak - I'm not sure I understand what you are asking about the plug wires.
