I've always loved this generation of Mustang and have thought about getting one at some point in this life. Well tonight my mom is hosting a surprise birthday party at our house. One of the chaplains where she works bought a 66 Mustang and had it restored and is giving it to his wife for her 50th birthday :) It is sitting in our garage now waiting for the *big surprise*.

I snagged a few pics of it a bit ago. It's gorgeous...pics don't do justice.

The surprise went very well :) The chaplain's kids came over before he brought his wife..and they tied big red bows on the door handles.

Needless to say..she was stunned. :flash:

Kind of reminds me of the 302 '72 Mustang my step-dad had restored and sold to me for a steal. I then proceded to wrap it around a pole 4 months later. :(
