Hey everyone! I doubt any of you remember me. I know there arn't many 4x4's posted here but I have always liked this forum and the amount of detail in the builds. Some amazing builds here.
These are the first models I have done since 2008. So please don't mind the sloppiness.
First up is the Tamiya, Scratch built the roll cage, 4 link on front and rear, wired engine and ran brake lines.

And here is the model I finished a few days ago. I started with the new Jeep Rubicon kit from revell and chopped it up, scratch built a bed, stretched the frame, and used the roof and top half of doors from the revell cj-7 kit.

You did a great job on both but the Wrangler really kicks ass.

I remember you. Great builds!! I like the weathering. It's very convincing. I've never attempted to try it because I don't think I'd be very good at it. You've made it look easy.

I don't think I'm very good at weathering either, but I think its easier to make a model look like crap than it is to get it to shine like glass.
Thanks a lot everyone, When I build again I will make sure to post here.

I think it's quite similar, you need to know what you're doing and you need a lot of practice.
Anyway, your Jeeps are awesome!
