My TS 3.8L V6 1995 has gone to what humans call "a better place".
Whether a junkyard is a better place or not I'm not to judge.
Parts however will end up in new devices, perhaps also cars.
Anyway after loosing oil pressure while driving, I firstly considered a rebuild.
Summing up the funds, space, tools and time needed for such an operation I ended up deciding it's time to let go.
Thanks to all of you who have given advice in cases I needed to solve issues while I owned this fine car.

There are some really helpful and knowledgeable guys on this forum, and you are one of them. Maybe you will get another Transport...cheers
I am sentimental about our Transport, and my son and daughter are now driving our van. I remember taking my son home from the hospital in our van.

Thank you for the compliment, though a lot of my knowledge acquired came from this forum.
I'm and have been the first owner of this car.
That's why it took almost a year to come to my decision to let it go.
Well, I still have other cars to attend to.
I do have the original factory service manuals if some body is interested.

This is going to make this forum even more lonely....new threads are a rare beast now.
Keep monitoring anyway to bring your experience in whenever appropriate.

I feel your pain - I am struggling with letting go of my '94 Lumina APV LS. I have had it since new and it has been the best vehicle todate. The main problem has been rust underneath - coulda shoulda rustproofed it, Then again it has lasted 19 Years. It is sitting in the driveway till I decide to send it away.
The problems have stacked up - Rack & pinion (changed), broken front spring, rusty brake lines, and rusted underbody. It still runs - but sometimes won't start on a hot day........
Anyway - time to send it to the happy hunting grounds!!
