Hi Guys. First post here so go easy. As I was replacing the valve gasket seal and heater elbows and reached the reassembly process, I noticed a wire that we could not remember or find where it goes. I will try and include some pics. It is a blue clip that comes out of a split in a larger wire. Thanks

I don't know what that goes to, but GM generally uses that plug for temp sensors, pressure switches, and EVAP stuff.
Do you have access to a code reader? Sometimes you can just start the engine and see what code you get. Since something is unplugged, it should set an engine light right away.
Isn't the steering pump right there? Perhaps its for the steering pressure switch (if it has one), or an AC pressure switch.
Don't be surprised if you continue to have leaks. Those engines are known for warped intake manifolds that leak coolant and oil.

Will check under my hood, tomorrow AM. Looks familiar.

Looked at my 2003 this am, could not see that connector from the top, but look at it's length and see where it would reach, it must be down below to a sensor.

It's pretty short and I couldn't find anything around it so I just left it unplugged. No lights came on and everything seems to be operating fine.

Its not uncommon for a few unused connectors to pop up here and there. Maybe its for optional equipment your car doesn't have.
