Yamaha D'Antin 2001

Hi guys,

I am thinking about building a Yamaha from Team D'Antin 2001. I would use the Biaggi's YZR500 01 kit but I am not sure if the satellite Team D'Antin possessed the same bikes than the official team or if they used bikes from the past year. I would be very grateful if someone could inform. I google-ed but there is almost nothing...

Try googling the riders Norick (Norifumi) Abe and José-Luis Cardoso instead.
There are probably some differences as the Dantin team wasn't a factory team. I would suggest using the Tech 3 bike instead of Biaggis Marlboro bike and making changes to that kit from what you find in ref pics.

Why do you suggest to use the Tech 3 kit instead of the official one? I guess both are the same with different decals. Am I wrong?

If I remember correctly you get an extra sprue with parts for the tech 3 bike, front fender and seat cowl amongst a few smaller stuff. But I have to dig into my stash to confirm that.
