Hi
What is involved with changing the Control Arm Pivot Bushing both front and rear. That's where I think the problem is.
Thanks

Hey, I would go head and replace the entire control arm. For one, you can get them dirt cheap from ebay, Moog brand. Two, you will get all new bushings Including the ball joint bushing. Three, You wont have to worry about the control arm bushing housings being warped or worn out because of the previous bushing rubbing around inside of it. Just my opinion. I just did this on my car 98 olds cutlass/chevy malibu

48 bux for moog arms all new.

Requires probably removing lower bolts on strut, removing cv axle nut. Of course removing the three bolts that hold the arm on( 2 botls one nut for the ball joint)

You will need a torque wrench and probaly two jacks, so when you go to torque the bushing bolts, the control arm will be up and level like it would be on the ground. You dont want to torque it with out the car weight/arm being level. \
EDIT forgot, more than likely you will need an alignment afterwards.

As Sleepy said, don't forget to get the alignment checked after you replace the arms!!

Finally installed the control arms. The sway bar bolts were a bit of a PITA . We replaced both. Tomorrow going for alignment.
Thanks again.
