2009. Hhr

I need some help hhr key is stuck and won't come out, I tried to push the white slide button but still nothing,I had took apart the silo is off the side, Still won't turn out if ant ideas please let me know thanks you auto fans. Need to get my daughter to school cause she want to use my truck lol

Check your owner's manual, pages 2-24 and 2-25....

The car must be in park....there is a cover underneath your steering column in the area of the lock cylinder....remove it and then insert your finger, and press and hold the plunger of the solenoid, and then rotate the key to lock and remove it...
