1992 toyota camry timing

1992 Toyota camry timing was at about 15 degrees btdc and I took it to 10 degrees, is this about right? 4 cylinder not the z28.

Short terminals TE1 and E1 of the data link connector. Run the engine at 1,000–1,300 rpm for 5 seconds and then check that it returns to idle speed.

Ignition timing is 10 BTDC at idle with transmission in neutral with the terminals shorted as above.

Normally, the timing mark moves between 0-10 deg at idle.
