noise crazy

2003 Malibu
While driving the Blinker noise sounds most of the time, I also hear sometimes the warning sounds going off (like low on gas, low on oil, etc.)
Also one time my wife said the flashers even came on while driving down the highway (along with the flasher sound).
Anyone have any ideas on what is causing all this?

Off the top of my head I would say it sounds a lot like a fusible link is going bad near the starter and the circuits are starting to meld ito one another. Other than that - I would check the wiring leading into the starter to begin my diagnosis.

There have been a lot of problems with the Hazard switch, which can cause these problems.....the other possibility is the multifunction switch.....

Call your local Chevy dealer and give them the last 8 numbers of your VIN....they can tell you if there are any open campaigns.....there was one for the hazard switch on earlier year cars....
