I need to know how to remove the driver-side door panel on an 87 DeVille Sedan. My son just bought his first car and none of the windows work, checked the breaker, it is good. Our next plan of action is to remove the panel and see if anything looks 'off'. Can anyone tell me where the screws are hidden and any clues for trouble-shooting? thanks, Carol

1st try tapping the door from the inside with a rubber hammer, might shock start the window motor, most of the trim panel is held on by clips in the back of the trim that must be carefully pried out, not sure where the screws are if any.

found the screws with help in chat, (haven't messed with it today) previous owner says they replaced the motor. car has a sound motor and transmission, good solid body, no rust. there is one 'crunch' on the back driver-side hood where the previous owner backed into a gooseneck :disappoin. only has 106,000 miles, pd $600. My son has already been offered $800, I told him not to sale it, it will be worth the money to fix it as I doubt he will get a better deal elsewhere.

I know this thread is kind of old, but did you have any luck figuring out why the windows weren't working? I have a similar problem with my 86 DeVille. Any advice would be appreciated.
