My Daughter's old faithfull did the other day and I am trying to bring it back to life.. It spit and sputtered and died on the road.. Timing is fine, newer belt, Distributer replaced 1 year ago, replaced, wires, coil, plugs.. It Gets fuel, Compression was at 90 for all 4 cylinders, but I had not turned off the fuel, which explains the low pressure some.
It has good Spark. If you pull the plugs you can smell the gas, and I even tried some starting fluid.. No oil in the coolant, no coolant in the oil, and the the car leaks and does not burn any oil..I do not understand why I get nothing, I do not have the equipment for a leak test.. I appreciate any help..

Any chance the Catalytic Convertor could be plugged?
This happened to me after I rebuilt my Son's 1990 Civic Wagon.
Disconnected the exhaust & it fired right up!

Check the rotor, I've had a few cars where the screw for the rotor inside the distributor comes out and the rotor just free spins.
