Installing new sway bar end links

hey guys.....

I plan on changing my sway/stabilizer end links. Should I have the car's tires on ramps or should I use jack stands and have the wheels hanging down? Which releases the tension on the end links?

Shouldn't matter as long as the wheels are at equal height. You will have better access with the car on stands.
