What should I look for while buying a used car?

What classic car are you looking for?

I always fret about the car being taken care of. Was oil changed, tranny fluid changed, coolant changed. Those worry me more than anything else.

Oh yeah, and was it wrecked.

If its a 4 cyl, when was last time timing belt was changed, etc.

Tires, shocks all that stuff is important and will increase the amount of money you spend. So make sure those are good, or if not, have the price dropped

A used car history report may reveal some facts about the vehicle's past: previous reported accidents, rolled back odometer, failed emission tests, flood damage, number of owners and more. Of course, a history report in not a substitute for a thorough mechanical inspection, but it helps.

Before buying a used car following must be kept in mind:-
1. Check the trunk of the car to make sure that it is in good condition,
2. Check the odometer of the car for mileage,
3.Test drive the car before making any final decision.
