Turn my Onstar on

Hello all,
I have connected an iSimple Gateway so I can connect my Monsoon stereo system to my iPhone. Since it uses the OnStar port, I need to have a programmer turn it on (currently it's not used). Does anyone know a way to get my OnStar port turned on without paying $150 to a dealership?

I'm not a GM guy, so I know nothing of onstar. Perhaps you can try one of the GM sections on here.
