Giood day all,
Had the 2003 SE focus alignment checked yesterday. My wife took the car in for the alignment. We had to have the alignment kit installed. The Alignment tech, noticed a clicking sound after the kit install and decided that something was wrong with the kit and removed it. Stating that he would call the manufacturer of the kit and find out what could be wrong. Anyway the wife picked up the car and stopped off at my daughters on the way home, just before pulling in the drive way, she said she noticed a "click, click, click" that sounded like something in the wheels. As she was pulling into the driveway, the car died, she was able to get it restarted and pulled on into the drive way. When she went to leave, it would turn over, but wouldn't start. I went up after work and to check it out. Just a qiuck visual as best I could. I attempted to start it and all I could hear was the starter spinning and no engine turn over. Couldn't get to the starter to check the connections of give the solenoid a love tap, all the battery cables look good and appeared to be tight. On the last attempt to start it, I just got what sounded like dead battery clicks. Any opinions? I'm thinking, bad connection (ground), starter solenoid, or maybe even timing belt? Car has 84K miles.
Thanks

For future reference for ya'll. It was the timing belt tension pulley.
