Coolant leak that I cannot find

I have a coolant leak that I cannot find and can only see from under the truck. It is dripping down onto the front steering and the exhaust "S" curve. It appears to be coming from almost straight up on the side of the engine facing the back of the truck but I cannot see the source. The water pump does not appear to be leaking after removing the serpentine belt but not the pulley.

I am hoping that this is not the dreaded leaking head gasket with stripped head bolts.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

George

Put some fluorescent dye into your coolant and check the rear of the engine with a black light in a dark garage or at night. The point of leaking should be obvious. It is most likely a hose connection.

Will do, thanks.
