Year and JDM conversion ???

Ok first of all im a Mitsubishi guy and i dont know much about Acura products. But here it is, Im thinking of purchasing a Integra GSR , what year should i get? 94-96 ish? And second how much does the Japanese JDM Kit and headlight conversion cost?

if you CAN... get a 93 gsr...otherwise ur fine with the 94+
and the jdm conversion usually runs ~1500 for the parts...thats if you shop around!!

In case he doesn't know, 90-93 are second generation tegs and look COMPLETELY different than the 3G. If you prefer a 3G, 94-95 are the best to get because they are OBD1 and easier to work with.

I agree with PWMAN. It's a matter of personal preference when it comes to 2nd gen vs. 3rd gen. IMO, the 2nd gens, as far as appearance is concerned, are a basic variation on other accords/civics of that generation. The 3rd gens are much sportier...then again, everybody seems to have one these days. IF you're going for a 3rd gen, though, definitely go for a 94-95 (unless you find a Type R for the same price!).

An where exactly might i find one of these Type-R Integras? Like i said before, i dont know alot about this stuff , but i thought that the type-R was a Japanese thing? but ?????i have not a clue and im all ears for advise . But no kiddin , can i just randomly find a Type-R?

Sometimes www.Autotrader.com has them. You can't put in ''integra'' because it won't bring up type R's. You just have to put in ''all models'' and look around for them a bit. They are pretty expensive though, lowest I've seen is 17K.
