Hilux Pickup diorama

I call this dio, 'Get it working'. The dio portrays a Libyan mechanic working on a mounted rocket launcher on the back of the pickup. Part of this scene was taken from an inspiration photo of a mechanic working on a rock launcher just like the one in the photos. Since the pickup is not military I thought I stick this thread here instead. The second mechanic is working on the moped. The scale for this diorama is 1/35. Hope you guys like the results.

Dammmn, that's so freaking awesome!! I'm loving the entire dio. So realistic looking. All the details in this build look so amazing. Digging the wanted poster on the side... Nice touch. KUTGW!!!

Pretty impressive work!

This could be very usefull on the highway, if the driver in front won't let you pass, or if some is pushing from behind. :)
A very nice diorama, and a good way to use all those parts from the spare part box.

Would be very interesting to see a WIP thread for one of your future builds. Probably a lot to learn for most of us. I agree with the others that it, like your other builds, is fantastic!

You are right John. That is why i decided to remove the pickup from the diorama and have it as is. The diorama has been destroyed. I made another one, much smaller.

Charles you shouldn't have destroyed the diorama - it was really good.
It was just my thoughts - there are green areas "oasis" in Libya too.

It was decision i made due the fact that i wanted to be a little more authentic if I wanted to enter it into a competition. Like i said i made another smaller dio with just the mechanics working on the scooters.
