hi. im a noob at this car mod stuff so i need some help.
is there such thing as the shocks are too tall? im trying to lower my car and bought ractive coil over springs and installed them, went down like 2 and a half in. then test drove it, but it felt like my car had no springs nor shocks. my car was jumping up n down on the smallest road bumps. so now im planning to buy yellow konis. are them konis low enouhg to work? im just confused because people told me my stock shocks will work when i lower it.

First thing I would do is junk those "coil-overs" & get a good set of coil-overs or performance lowering springs. Yes your car will ride like shit on the stock shocks.

Did you cut your bump stops? Your car is probably riding right on them giving you that nasty ride.

If you increase the srping rate(lower car) you will have a bouncy ride. Better shocks will slow down the bouncing.

I wouldn't right away blame the Springs as being crap. I would think the bump stops and or the struts are shot

go with a eibach springs, the sportline drop. it wont lower it 2.5 inches but it settles to about 2. I have those and KYB AGX gas shocks(fully-adjustable) an i love it. I would spend the extra money on koni's tho unless you got plenty of $$.
