hard to start 2000 5.2

the check engine light is on I think it was some kind of crank sensor code
is that in the distributor. do you replace whole distributor or the sensor?
I'll go scan it again if I need to.

Baron, the crank sensor is located on the bellhousing behind the engine on the passenger side.
