I would check to make sure the left front cv axle is not broken as this could cause a problem of power to the front wheels. All the power would go to the broken wheel and you would have a no movement situation.

I meant to say the transfer case when I said gear box. Sounds like it could be in neutral that is why you get a grinding when you put it in Park,.

but it's not even catching a gear tho, so I don't think broken cv er axle would cause this?...think u may be right about the transfer case...locked in neutral?

Grinding when put into park means the transfer case is in neutral. You will need to determine why the transfer case is not shifting into 2 or 4 wheel drive. Start by making sure the fuse for the transfer case switch is good and you have power to the switch. Your owners manual should show which fuse this is.

Do you have a Digital Multimeter or test light??Did yoou switch the fuse with a known good new one just to be sure??? You need to get to the transfer case control switch and check for power to the switch and make sure the switch has power to all positions of the switch.

You also need to make sure that all wiring connectors are good and in place on the transfer case.
