I am attempting to replace the slave cylinder that is housed inside the tranmission housing.
Problem being that I have the engine on a jack and blocked with engine support bar and chain through loop next to the top right side of the engine block.
All of the transmission bolts are removed all the way around the bell housing and I also removed all of the mounts for the transmission.
It does not want to separate apart. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I have done the following steps:
Pulled CV shafts
Lowered Ball Joints
Disconnected from Struts
Removed Bolts from Transmission Housing
Any Help is Greatly Appreciated.

If you have removed ALL THE BOLTS, the only thing I can think of is the tranny is hanging onto the dowel pins, due to rust.....support the tranny as you drive a wedge/chisel in between them and separate it from the engine......helps the input shaft from hanging up onto the clutch and pilot bearing.....

Well it seems I missed two bolts prior to taking this thing apart. I owe a debt of gratitude to member Crvett69 for all of his help in the chat forum.
I got the transmission apart, and put in the new slave cylinder and put it back together again.
The Haynes manual leaves a lot to be desired in terms of what really needs to be done if you have this car on stands.
I wound up removing the entire cross member underneath the car which also holds the gearbox for the power steering.
It was also diffucult to figure out which bolts to loosen on the engine mount topside to get the engine to lower down.
All in all ... its back together and running again.
