I doubt you'd be able to get that beast off with standard hand tools. Probably need a hard core air gun.
All I can say is get some liquid wrench and let it soak over night.

I was under the impression he WAS using an impact, since he said he broke two impact extensions.

I can get all the other bolts off I just can't get the crank pulley to loosen. I was told it shouldn't take much force but it is really being stuborn.

That's funny because I have heard countless stories of people who can't remove them. First off, how much torque does your impact put out? Often a 1/2'' drive rachet and long breaker bar will do the trick better. Try soaking in WD40 or the "Blaster" stuff works really well. If not, sometimes i will get out the propane torch and heat up the nut causing it to expand, then try removing it right after. You know recentley I had a axle hub nut that wouldn't come off with impact or anything mentioned above. I brought it to my mechanic and he stuck a 18v BATTERY attachment on there and it came right loose, of course it was a snap on tool that had LOTS of tq and was said to cost about $800. Good Luck...

Sorry for the stupid post before. I guess my attention span is too short to read three entire sentences. :icon16:
