Dodge Caravan eats axles

My 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan SE/Sport has blown through 8 axles in the last two years, three in the past week. It's the driver's side half-axle, and it's the inner tripod joint that breaks.

The first times it happened there were loose engine mount bolts, but they are not loose now. Nothing near the wheel seems loose. Nor do the struts. The sway bar bushings are a little worn and I'll be replacing them. Could worn sway bar bushing cause a problem like this?

That's bad. Have you been getting the axles from the same parts house? Could the parts be faulty? Have any other symptoms?
