Dying Mercedes

I just bought a 1978 Mercedes 280Ce .Drove it around for two days and it ran fine. Parked for two days afterwards .Than tried to start it this morning and it kept dying on me . Finally was able to it get it going ,but it kept dying every time I stopped at a light or anything . About Half hour latter it seems to running fine again . Battery is completely charged so it isn't that . I suspect either the fuel filter or fuel pump . Wondering if Someone might give me:runaround: some feed back ? Thank you .

Any codes? Have you checked the fuel pressure?
