Where can i get some old school corollas?
I am after 1/24 and 1/32 scale corollas
I want to convert the 1/32 scale to slot cars, and the 1/24 as static models.

Anyone with any suggestions?

Mishko

PS: I am an aussie in Australia

I think you won´t find any 1:32 Corollas. For the 1:24 ones look @ www.hlj.com or http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/index_e.asp?Bno=4209835&Typ1_c=102

aren't old-school corollas also known as AE86's, Hachi Roku, etc...?
If so look for the initial D cars that takumi drives

hlj.com and 1999.co.jp do have this item, if is what you mean.

or it will be AE86 Trueno or Levin. As most of the Fujimi AE86 are mostly Apex version, the older version is call Corolla Trueno.:twak: :twak: :banghead: :banghead:

And there are others, this is just what I could find at the moment. Not sure where they sell models of these older ones

No, AE86 was the designation given to that particular model Corolla, and it was available in both Levin and Trueno versions. Even before the 86 and even after, Levin and Trueno versions existed.

Aoshima did a run of 1:32nd scale kits that make for very nice slot car conversions called the "owner's club" series. They have these at HLJ. There ought to be a TE27 in the lineup. Also, there was a 1:32 scale run of cars from Initial D from Aoshima that you might be able to locate, if not, try the UU motorized kits. They're 1:24th. and are near about slot cars right from the box.

Thanks for all of the replies.

I really appreciated them all.
What i am after are the TE 27 Corolla Levins.
I am sorry i did not put that in my message before.
I have 2 old 1/24 scale cars which i plan to finish over my holidays, and then search out for more.

I can't get enough of the old beasts, as i used to own a TE27Levin here in Australia, when i was married, once.

I plan to find one again, but i think i will have to import it from Japan, one day.

Thanks again guys and gals
