Aoshima's another secret for 2013 is ... a rally car?!

According to Aoshima's Japanese blog, they're going to make two additional announcements about all-new kits.
One of which is already discussed here:

It will be great if finally the ST165 Celica is again available in a racing version, and at much lower price that Studio27TK :iceslolan

From Spain we have join efforts in several forums to ask for TK reedition to Studio27, without result.

Maybe will be time for Aoshima revenge :evillol:

Well, the ST165 uses an earlier version of the 3S-GTE so there is always the possibilty of kit-bashing one with the Tamiya GT-Four kit.

Kit-bashing, remember when the forums were full of that sort of thing?

Do you mention Australia because of the reference pic above or because it's the version planned by Aoshima ?
It's nice to get an Australian rally car instead of the usual MonteCarlo ones but in this case the 91 MC version is really interesting !! :naughty:
So not to sell back too fast the S27 TK !! :lol:

Oh man! Isn't that always the way? I've just finished working out what bashing I needed to do to Tamiya's ST185 chassis' to make it fit under their ST165 road car body. I know the road car body isn't EXACTLY accurate for the rally car, but at least it's a damn sight cheaper & easier to find than ST27 TK.

Excellent, great to see new rally cars coming on the market. When is the release date scheduled?

September I think.

Late November release....
In the meantime I need photos of the other teams to run the ST165

If I can get enough photos, there is the possibility of lots of decal variations
