I just started to notice that the head lights no longer turn on when it gets dark, they are on all the time. Where is the sensor that I need to replace. Is it the black domed piece in the center of the dash board. Which is near the heat vent. I also need the part number so that I can order the part and get it replaced. The wife has been bugging the hell out of me to get this problem fixed. The stealership wanted $250 to fix the problem. I can skin my knuckles and have a very good dinner out.

the sensor is the dome piece you see on the top of the dash ... you will need to use your vin# to get the part from the dealership. the top of the dash is normally lifted up/off to replace. cost I have seen is about 30 USD..

THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME !!!!!
