first question: what is the best muffler to get??

Second Question: are cam gears and pulley kits worth it, if so...what will they do??

Cam gears in SOHC engines provide minor results. However, with DOHC VTEC, cam timing is very rewarding.

Pulleys may only yield 2-3 extra HP, but they look good & any extra HP isnt a bad thing either.

What makes a muffler the best? The best muffler is NO muffler at all.

best muffler: use the search, and to save you the time, best answer you'll get is to listen to mufflers you hear around town, and go with what you like. ('least I think that answers part of that)

cam and pulley kits, IMO not very worth it. yes, in a DOHC, you can really get some pull by playing with the timing, specially on v-tec. but otherwise, I think it's too much money for too little HP. JMO.
