This started out as the lowly and somewhat unloved Jada kit. Body and parts are very crisp but limited in detail. The engine is also somewhat crude, but this type of kit allows the builder to add as much or as little detail and modifications as they'd like very easily.
Modifications - smoothed lower ground effects, opened side vents, opened side windows, Mr. Model brakes, Tamiya Enzo tire pack, scratch built shift light with MV lense, scratch built 2 piece procharger and pulley cast in resin, scratch throttle body, custom gauges, custom turned hand brake, resin 3 piece wide lip wheels, scratch floor mats, scratch lip spoiler, scratch flat bottom steering wheel, and scratch intercooler. Headlights are MV lenses. Paint is Dupli Color Lazer blue pearl and metallic black. Hope you enjoy! Questions and comments welcome.

Thank you guys. Paint is Dupli Color lazer blue pearl straight from the can. About 4-5 coats, followed by 7-8 coats of clear (dupli color about 4-5 coats and testors one coat another 2-3). It was rubbed out with scratch x 2.0 which is slightly more abrasive than original scratch x and works extremely well for smoothing and polishing the finish.

Saw this at the Milwaukee NNL yesterday and looked absolutely beautiful! Sorry, didn't have a chance to talk to you but hope you had a good time. Will you be going to the GTR NNL in August? It's a great show too. Like to get a better look.

Thanks again. Yes these are Tamiya GT3 wheels cast in resin with front and rear resin sleeves.
Milwaukee NNL was a good time. First time for me attending. I may attend the GTR show as another awesome member here who was at the NNL also mentioned it.

Awesome build does not describe it. I will start off by saying that I'm and average Vette fan. When I looked at the sea of vettes at the show, this unbelievable blue beast stood out like you would'nt believe (in my eves of course). The paint is flawless and the kit is well thought out and put together. And very itchy with all it's scratching ;) This thing is scary looking in a way that doesn't manke one scream. But rather in the way that you look away and hope it didn't see you.
It was a pleasure meeting you ScaleTuned. Thanks for sharing man. Hope we speak soon :grinyes:
