Hi to all,
The problem I am having with my 2009 Grand Caravan SE is the drivers door controls stopped working. I cant use the power windows locks or door locks and the background light is off also, the front passenger side and middle row locks etc work.

On the driver door the only things that work are the 2 back vent windows. Has anyone seen this problem or had it , thanks in advance for any help.

Zero experience working on 5th gen vans but looking at a wiring diagram, door power functions are controlled by left and right door control modules. They receive power from the TIPM - your fuse box. 25 amp fuse J4 in the TIPM powers the driver's door module. If the fuse is good I would suspect a bad module or a wiring problem. May be as simple as a loose door switch panel connector. Your rear vent windows don't use a dedicated module.

Thanks for your reply, I have called the dealer and they are talking 90+$ just to look at it. I guess I better find out where the fuse box is and check them lol.

The TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is under the hood near the battery.

Thanks, I need to find my old fuse puller and go to work. I guess it is a love/hate relationship with these newer vehicles I used to know my way under the hood. These newer vehicles are way too complicated for me.

How do I check the module ,do I have to take the door panel off or can I lift the thing that has the window buttons etc?

you also may want to swap your door modules left and right front doors
