2000 Altima GXE won't start

Engine turns over, but won't fire. Have charged the battery, changed spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Have tried starting fluid in the air intake while trying to start it, still won't fire. It all started with changing the valve cover gasket due to oil leak.
