bottom radiator hose removal on a 8.1l

2005 gmc 4x4 2500hd lower radiator hose to water pump removal?? Im replaceing the lower hose,I took off the snap ring,so how do I release it??Is it a 1/2 turn twist???I just don't want to damage the radiator!!Thx

If the retaining spring is off, the hose should pull off. It's just stuck on the seals probably.

yup it pulled off!! hard to pull, and harder to put on!!thx
