The A/C compressor on our '94 Chevy Van G2500 5.7L V8 just died-out completely.

Looking around online we saw a few options but have no idea about their quality:
- Spectra Premium/Cooling Depot
- Four Seasons
- GPD
- ACDELCO Remanufactured H6

What would you choose from your best experience with this issue?

The only one I have seen besides the Delco is the Four Seasons. If I had to choose between the two I would choose the Delco....

I've replaced alot of 'em. I'd stay away from rebuilt units. Noisy and problematic.

I had a 4 seasons that lasted just about 4 summers... that's why I'm asking this time.

How about the Spectra's, any idea on their reliability?

I can see from the description that some compressors are H6 units while the other compressors are HR6.

Any idea on what are the differences between the two and which type fits this vehicle ('94 GMC G2500 Vandura 5.7 V8?
