CVT Computer Acting Strange

I have an 08' Maxima 3.5 with a CVT. When I give it full-throttle, it revs up to about 6500 and just goes, like it's supposed to. My concern is when it hits about 75mph. The engine suddenly gets quieter, the car doesn't seem to keep pulling as hard, but the rpms don't change. If I'm already going ~75mph and then punch it, this doesn't happen.

Has anyone heard of cars that (at least appear to) limit your passing speed?

Not me. But weird acting computers, yes. First issue is to get measured supply voltage at computer when acting is 'on'. Next is to clean all connectors, gnd points - a job nobody will do for you... Go ask Nissan for known problems, test swap the complicatorsgk.
